Here’s how to give your Chi’s Luxe Braiding Hair tender loving care.
The Braiding Process
Chi’s Luxe Braiding hair is suitable for all hair types. Please follow the following steps:
- Shampoo, condition and blow dry your hair straight before braiding.
- Have your braider stretch the hair before braiding.
- We recommend leaving at least 4 inches out at the bottom to obtain the curly ends look.
- Tie the end of the braid into a knot so the braid will not unravel.
- Do not add heat or dip your ends in hot water after braiding, this will ruin the hair.
THE MAINTENANCE PROCESS
- Shampoo and condition your hair and scalp every 2-3 weeks.
- Oil your scalp regularly.
- Apply Mousse to freshly washed braids.
- Spray leave in conditioner mixed with warm water on your hair weekly.
- Wear a silk bonnet or silk scarf to bed.
- We recommend wearing your braids for up to 8 weeks.
- You can swim with this hair but we advise washing it immediately after swimming.
